Our machines have built in sensors (above the delivery basket) to ensure all vends are successful. If an item gets stuck (failed vend), the machine will allow you to make another selection. On a cash transaction, the machine will maintain your transaction open until you decide to make a purchase. If a vend fails on a credit card or cashless transaction, the machine will cancel & close the transaction & you will not be charged but you will need to swipe again.
When you swipe your credit card or use Apple and Google Pay, this machine will verify that you have funds in your account to open a transaction and allow you to make a selection. It will pre-authorize a minimum amount between $6 - $8 and you may see a "pending" hold on your mobile app for banking or mobile wallet. This DOES NOT mean that you will be charged this amount. This automatically disappears and is replaced with the correct amount when the transaction settles with your bank. This is a common misunderstanding but we're here to assure you that you will only be charged for items that you purchase and are dispensed.
If a transaction is closed before you make a purchase, you will not be charged and the pre-authorization amount or "pending" hold will be voided within a few business days. Generally banks release or settle funds within 2-3 business days. Some can be quicker than others, so please also consult with your bank if you have questions about a pre-authorization for peace of mind. Additionally, you may email us at mcfso@yahoo.com
All cashless transactions are charged a .10 transaction fee. We DO NOT apply any additional taxes to the prices of our items.
